In our current system we have a custom transaction that will allow our IT support to unlock a user and reset the password. The transaction will send the new password directly to the end user. The downside to this is that that the IT support have to have an account in all systems to perform the unlock / lock / password reset.
We have used GRC 10.1 for the last year (EAM / ARM / ARA / BRM) and have been investigating the lock / unlock functionality but from what I can see the process will lock / unlock an account but there is no way to reset the password of the user when they unlock is performed. I know there is a self service but we would like to use ARM request to unlock users and send them back a new password in the same request.
is this possible?
